It is for valves in place or removed from heads on automotive, motorcycle, marine, and power sports engines. Use the pliers to remove the seal from the valve guide, choose an adapter and thread it into the socket, lightly apply lubricant (not included) and slide the valve seal over the pilot of the adapter, then select a socket and thread it onto the drive handle, place a valve seal into the counterbore of the selected drive handle, then place it over the exposed valve stem to install the seal.
