Both gasoline and diesel engines can use this formulation. All cooling system metals, including aluminum, are shielded from corrosion by its lower-silicate, lower-pH, phosphate-free European technology. ZEREX G05 is a coolant that contains nitrite and is intended to prevent cavitation in the cylinder liners of diesel engines. For defense against scale and hard water deposits, it has deposit control chemicals.
