Wide Application The SAE Double Flare is an inverted 45-Degree flare, fits for the brake lines of most cars, trucks and vehicles, works flawlessly on 3/16" (4.75mm) and 1/4" nickel, copper and zinc tubing. Not recommended for use on steel and stainless steel tubing because the tool has no serrations in the jaws to grip the tougher metals.
