3M Acryl-Red Glazing Putty 05098 is a professional grade, one-part acrylic spot putty formulated to fill pinholes, scratches, stone chips, and other minor surface imperfections on automotive and marine substrates. The medium drying formula provides approximately 2 minutes of work time and can be sanded in about 20 minutes under standard shop conditions. For best results, it should be applied in thin layers of 1/16 inch or less to prevent shrinkage or blistering. Suitable for metal, primed surfaces, cured paint, and fiberglass, this putty helps create smooth, paint-ready surfaces. It should not be applied at temperatures below 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
