The Evercoat 100411 Poly-Flex Polyester Glazing Putty is the ultimate solution for spot filling and skim coating on flexible bumpers and plastic parts. It effortlessly addresses imperfections such as sand scratches, nicks, and dings while maintaining the integrity of the original paint. The glazing putty is compatible with various substrates, including steel, galvanized steel, and both rigid and semi-rigid plastics. For best results, clean and degrease the repair area thoroughly, then use 80-180 grit sandpaper to prepare the surface. Mix the putty with the included blue cream hardener in a 2 percent weight ratio, and apply a thin, even layer. The setting time is about 5-6 minutes at 72°F. Sand the surface with 180 grit sandpaper and finish with 220-320 grit.
