The Evercoat 100730 Super Build 4:1 polyester primer surfacer is a high-solids hybrid polyester/epoxy formula designed for exceptional filling, adhesion, and corrosion resistance in automotive body repair. It delivers a recommended 6.0 to 8.0 mils of dry film thickness per coat and can achieve up to 24 mils total build to cover minor imperfections and hail damage. Super Build can be applied directly to properly prepared bare metal or aluminum, eliminating the need for a separate epoxy or etch primer. It passes 500 hours of ASTM B117 salt spray testing and adheres to fiberglass, SMC, rigid plastics, body filler, and putty. The primer air dries in about 2 hours at 72F or can be force dried in 30 minutes at 140F. It is compatible with waterborne paint systems, VOC compliant, and requires a 4:1 mix ratio using Evercoat 733 or 734 catalyst.
