The LS harmonic balancer install tool is not fit for Gen 2 LT1 5.7 engines (1992-1997). This tool is for harmonic balancer installation only, and NOT remove a harmonic balancer. For installation of harmonic balancers on GM engine applications, Services harmonic balancers, reduction pulleys and recessed crank threads on GM LS and LT engine systems.
