High Teck 77400C-1 is a high-solids gray acrylic lacquer primer surfacer designed for fast drying, easy sanding, and minimal shrinkage in automotive refinishing. This 1K primer is typically ready to sand in 30 to 60 minutes at 77F, depending on application thickness and environmental conditions. The high-build formula provides excellent filling capability for surface imperfections and sands cleanly for a smooth, paint-ready finish. The C version is fully 2.1 VOC compliant, making it suitable for use in all U.S. states, including regions with strict environmental regulations. It mixes 1:1 with compliant lacquer thinner or low VOC reducer and is recommended for use on primed steel, fiberglass, cured body filler, and treated aluminum. Apply 1-3 wet coats with 5-10 minute flash times.
