This is a swedging tool for swedging Model A Brake drum studs. We rebuild many brakes on Model A Fords, and as part of that job, we swedge a lot of brake drum studs. The $12 tool sold for this purpose only last for a couple drums. We had these made from tool steel for folks that do lots of them. Out last one lasted for 600 drums (300 studs). We needed a new one but they only would make is ten of them, so we have some extras. Shipped free in the USA
