TIMPS_IN is built-in (the sensor is placed in the tire), the advantage is that it is not easy to be damaged, the disadvantage is that it needs to be installed in an auto parts store. TIMPS_EX is external (the sensor is screwed out of the tire valve core): the advantage is that it is easy to install. The disadvantage is that long-term exposure may affect the service life.
