The tool is in great condition. The plastic from the box has broken down and the box window is missing. It will be shipped wrapped in plastic to keep the tool in its place. The wires are not cracked. The 91 year old man that I bought it from said he bought it new and never used it. Aside from the rough packaging, it does look unused.
